Megan Adams is an ecologist and Hakai-Raincoast scholar with the University of Victoria and the Raincoast Conservation Foundation. She has been a part of the Nimmo Bay guide team for the last 6 years, as the scientist in residence, showing guests the beauty of the Great Bear Rainforest and sharing with them her expertise.

Aside from guiding at Nimmo, she currently studies carnivore-salmon-human systems in coastal British Columbia, pursuing research that is applied and community driven. She sits on the scientific advisory board for the Spirit Bear Research Foundation, and is actively involved in the research community of Salmon Coast Field Station.  Megan has been a board member of Sea to Cedar since 2012, working closely with Nimmo Bay to develop initiatives that support place-based conservation and community projects in the southern Great Bear Rainforest.
