Nimmo Bay Resort is accessible only by air or water. The resort itself is the only development in the area and we do not have any road access. From Outside of British Columbia

Including USA, Europe, Easter Canada, etc.

  1. Fly to Vancouver International Airport (YVR), on the airline of your choice. Be sure to arrive prior to 13:00.
  2. Take the Pacific Coastal Airlines flight from the South Terminal to Port Hardy Airport (YZT). This flight is 1 hour Please call our reservation specialist for assistance in booking your Pacific Coastal Airlines flight 1-800-837-4354.
  3. Board the helicopter or floatplane waiting for you at the Port Hardy Airport and fly to Nimmo Bay. This flight is 20 minutes and is included in our packages

From Vancouver International Airport

From Downtown Vancouver

  1. Take a SeaAir charter float plane directly from Vancouver to Nimmo Bay. The flight is 1.5 hours. Please let us know if you’d like us to book this for you.

From Vancouver Island

  1. Drive to the Port McNeill Airport, this is also the helicopter base for West Coast Helicopters, or the Port McNeill Marina, if travelling by float plane. Arrive at the pre-arranged time.
  2. Board the helicopter waiting for you at the West Coast Helicopter base or float plane from the Port McNeill Marina and fly to Nimmo Bay. The flight is 20 minutes, and is included in our packages.

Via Private Jet

  1. Port Hardy Airport (YZT) has refuelling and aircraft ramp and parking facilities. Pre-customs clearance can be made by calling 1-888-CANPASS (please call for details).
  2. Board the helicopter or floatplane waiting for you at the Port Hardy Airport and fly to Nimmo Bay. This flight is 20 minutes and is included in our package.

Via Float Plane

  1. Fly directly into Nimmo Bay, where you will find space both to land and secure your aircraft (please call for details)

Most of our guests departing from Vancouver in the evening will likely need to spend the night in Vancouver. We have negotiated special rates and services for our guests with the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel or Rosewood, Hotel Georgia.
