Raincoast Retreat

Escape into the wilderness and rejuvenate your soul with nature. This Raincoast Retreat package is for those who are looking to get away from the city and enjoy some down time in The Great Bear Rainforest. A great escape for couples, families, or even a group of friends looking for the chance to reconnect without everyday life getting in the way.

During the late spring, this rainforest comes alive with a hive of activity. This is when migratory animals and birds come back to the area, bears wake up from hibernation and the forest renews in anticipation for the arrival of summer. Contrary to the hectic noise levels found in nearby urban centres such as Vancouver and Seattle, the symphony of spring at Nimmo Bay Wilderness Resort is calm and peaceful.

This package, offered only in May, gives guests the chance to relax in their own private cabins, soak up the calm of the floating lodge, melt in the hot tubs located next to the onsite waterfall, and, of course, enjoy our inspiring and abundant west coast cuisine. Guests also have the choice to add on as many activities and adventures as they would like.

“May is an absolutely amazing time to be in the Great Bear Rainforest. Between the incredible food and the relaxing environment we offer, guests won’t have any desire – or need – to check in with the office.”

–Fraser Murray Owner & Operating Manager
